The Ohio Bike Week Block Party is scheduled to occur Thursday, June 1 through Saturday, June 3, 2023 in downtown Sandusky. The following street closures and parking restrictions will be in effect for the event:

Wednesday, May 31 – Sunday, June 4
Parking ban and closed to traffic beginning at 8am Wednesday, May 31 through the morning of Sunday, June 4 (red on map).
•    Jackson Street Pier
•    Shoreline Drive between Jackson Street & Wayne Street

Thursday, June 1-- Sunday, June 4
Parking ban and closed to traffic beginning at 1pm Thursday, June 1 through the morning of Sunday, June 4 (blue on map).
•    100 block of E. Water St.
•    100 block of W. Water St.
•    100 block of Columbus Ave.

Friday, June 2 – Sunday, June 4
Parking ban begins at 1pm on Friday, June 2 on the following streets. Streets are closed to vehicles beginning at 4pm through the morning of Sunday, June 4 (green on map).
•    100 block of E. Market St.
•    200 block of Columbus Ave
•    E. Washington Row (parking ban beginning at 4pm)
•    W. Washington Row (parking ban beginning at 4pm)

Saturday, June 3
The following streets will be closed on Saturday, June 3 if necessary (purple on map)
•    Washington St. between Wayne and Jackson
•    Columbus Ave between Washington and Adams

Public Parking 
The Jackson Street Parking lot and Erie County Parking Garage will remain open for public parking throughout the duration of the event. The Jackson Street Parking lot can be accessed via Jackson Street and the Garage can be accessed via W. Market St. from Jackson Street. 

Pedestrian Access
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the event area. A portion of the northern section of the Jackson Street Pier will be ticketed access from 12pm on Thursday, June 1 through 12pm on Sunday, June 4, but the remainder of the pier will be open to all pedestrians throughout the event.

Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA)
Due to state regulations, alcoholic beverages from participating DORA establishments are not permitted to be brought into the event area (red area shown on map, including Schade-Mylander Plaza). For establishments located on Shoreline Drive, DORA beverages cannot leave the premises onto Shoreline Drive, but instead can be taken out via Water Street. Alcoholic beverages purchased from vendors within the event area cannot be taken outside the event area boundary.
