The Sandusky Neighborhood Initiative is an outcome of the Bicentennial Vision and Strategic Vision. Its goal is to create a city that is vibrant, livable and connected, with focus in our neighborhoods and downtown areas to create a celebrated destination city.
In addition to ongoing efforts in the areas of housing development and blight elimination, neighborhood amenities, infrastructure, safety and engagement, the Sandusky Neighborhood Initiative commemorates the city's 2018 Bicentennial with placemaking and beautification efforts in six targeted residential neighborhoods.
Currently, the city is soliciting public input on possible park upgrade preferences to improve Jaycee Park. The Planning & Recreation Departments will be meeting with community groups and residents over the next few months to determine specific upgrades as well as through surveying. Click here to fill out the survey and provide your suggestions for Jaycee Park and the surrounding area.
Please join us on Tuesday, November 27 at 6 p.m. at The Church of the Nazarene, 2617 Milan Road, to share your thoughts.
