Spring Citywide Cleanup Drop Off Scheduled for April 20
The City of Sandusky is pleased to announce the spring Citywide Cleanup drop off event will be on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 8:00am to 11:00am at the Shelby Street Boat Launch, 101 Shelby Street. This event is an opportunity for residents of the city to bring unwanted items for disposal. Volunteers will be available to assist residents with unloading items.
The following items are accepted: mattresses/box springs, unwanted household items, electronics, furniture, bicycles/exercise equipment, appliances, carpet, batteries unwanted paper documents (limit 2 banker boxes per household), and passenger car and light truck tires (no tractor tires, limit of 10 tires per person, rims must be removed).
The following items are not accepted: construction debris, hazardous waste, paint, propane tanks, liquid recycling, household garbage, prescription pills, commercial landscaping debris, residential yard debris (trimmings, sod, stumps or rocks), TVs, commercial trailer loads and/or oversized U-Haul loads.
This free event is for residents of the city of Sandusky and proof of residency is required.
