In October, 2018, the city entered into agreement with Kokosing Industrial of Toledo, Ohio, for the Shoreline Drive rehabilitation project.  This project spans the entire length of Shoreline Drive from Shoreline Park (Franklin Street) to Lawrence Street.  Included will be new sanitary and storm sewers, water main replacement, improved parking, reconstruction of the roadway, re-creation of the Sandusky Bay Pathway to establish a protected bicycle lane and partial burial of low-voltage utilities.

Current Construction Activity & Road Closure:
Work has started at the west end of Shoreline Drive, between Lawrence/Water St to just before Jackson Street. During this time, traffic will be taken down to one lane allowing vehicular traffic to travel west bound from Jackson St to Lawrence/Water St. All pedestrian traffic in this area will be maintained on the north side of Shoreline Drive.

Questions or concerns about the Shoreline Drive rehabilitation project may be directed to the Department of Public Works by calling 419.627.5829.
