Shutting Off Water Service
If you need to turn off water service at a property, you can call the Customer Accounting Office at 419-627-5893. The City recommends property owners turn off water service if their dwelling is expected to be vacant during the winter months. This will help prevent water lines from freezing and breaking which would lead to costly repairs for the property owner. There is a $30 fee that is assessed once the water service is turned back on.
