The City of Sandusky is fortunate to be able to offer a variety of public parks and recreational facilities. Whether you choose to stroll through our floral gardens in Washington Park, play ball on one of our 17 ball diamonds, challenge the links at Mills Creek Golf Course, launch a boat to go fishing on Lake Erie, plan a picnic at one of our many shelters, or watch a picturesque sunset on the Bay, Sandusky offers it all.

The City of Sandusky’s Recreation Department, Firelands Regional Medical Center and North Shore Running Store are partnering with nine race events in the city to promote outdoor recreation for residents and visitors. Participation in the #RUNDUSKY Race Series promotion is free, but participants must register for each race independently, prices and registration availability depend on each race. Several of the scheduled races have switched to a virtual format due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Those who participate in five of the nine races will be given a #RUNDUSKY Race Series hoodie. Each participant who finishes six, seven, eight or all nine of the races will be entered into a drawing for a race package.
